Beautiful lady, beautiful makeup!

Marylin at the Junction did my makeup and I was very pleased. I thought my Mum looked smokin.

We got married in Newcastle but are from New Zealand, so I had limited opportunities for makeup trials. The first one I had, the end result was terrible! I don’t wear much makeup but she just packed it all on and didn’t take my skin type into consideration etc - I ended up looking like a totally different person with the foundation creating a huge oil-slick on my face! I had a second trial but it was no better so I contacted Kristy in January and had a trial one week before the wedding - and she was FAB. Kristy is such a lovely person and made us all feel very relaxed on the day. She used MAC makeup and went out of her way to contact MAC in Melbourne to check what the best foundation would be for my oily skin etc. After the first experience I thought I was doomed! So if anyone is hesitant about deciding on makeup people – I recommend Moda very highly for very natural and very pretty makeup.

The girls did a sensational job & we all looked stunning. The business has since changed hands so Janine the previous owner who did our make-up has moved on but a lot of the same girls who did our hair are still there. Prices for normal services went up when the business changed hands so I can only assume the wedding stuff did too.
